Hi Daka, Jill, Monica and Jane!

What a great presentation! I am *very* impressed. I just love how you used a wiki to introduce the class to the technology. I found the pros and cons' list of wikis being tested by Stanford University's Centre for Teaching and Training very helpful, but I noticed that you did not choose any of the reviewed providers. Why did you decide to use PBwiki? Did you find PBwiki easy to use? Do you know if PBwiki is similar or related to pmwiki?

I tried to edit your wiki, but soon discovered that it was password protected. This is probably a smart feature for a group assignment wiki. It would be very upsetting if someone went in and messed up all of your hard work!

Great job ladies!

Hi Alexandra,
Thanks for your comment to all of us! Yes, we did make the wiki password protected for the very reason that it was a group project--it's great that wikis are flexible to allow either open editing or group-specific editing. I'm interested in what you wanted to edit--we'll add your change if we think it's needed. PBWiki was really easy to use. From my reading, I gather that pmwiki is a totally different company.
I found these neat sites on using PBWiki:

The last link won't work because I can't seem to paste the whole URL onto the comment box--it keeps cutting off the

.pdf

If you add this, you'll get to the link. Does anyone know why the .pdf gets cut off? Is there a length limit to strings in comments?
